Phase l & Phase ll Environmental Assessments

The Phase I Assessment is a report that will detail any observed contamination to soil for liability purposes. Visual inspection of the property, and any adjoins properties. Identifying whether the property was previously used for any potentially hazardous uses. Interview are commonly a part of this assessment as well. This is a report based only on what can be seen, previous reports and historical data. Phase I evaluates the level of “likelihood” of contamination.

Phase II will assess the “actual” contamination. This will be based on soil and water samples. The lab work involves comparing the samples to all regulatory guidelines (city, state, federal).

The Interior may also be assessed for mold, lead, and radon.
